Miss Pryor was one of the fastest and most gifted guards to ever play at Danbury. For her time, she was a devastating penetrator with excellent ball handling skills. She was renown for her amazing drives to the basket and for her excellent passes to open teamates. Miss Pryor was also a pure scorer, as her 1503 career points (in three season) reflects.
Miss Pryor still maintains some outstanding records at Danbury, they include:
#1 career scoring leader (1503 points); #1 season field goals attempted (620 in 1980); #1 season points scored (592 in 1980); #1 single game scoring (52 points versus North Baltimore - 1980); #1 single game field goals made (23 versus North Baltimore - 1980); #1 single game assists (17 versus Northwood - 1981)
At Danbury, Miss Pryor had many great accomplishments, but perhaps the one that stands out was her single game - 54 point performance against North Baltimore, who was undefeated and ranked #10 in the state at that time. Miss Pryor outscored the entire North Baltimore team that night, and set the state single game scoring mark for that time.
She was highly recruited and chose to go south to continue her basketball career at South Florida. Miss Pryor became a starter for them in her freshman season.
